One of my most memorable songs!

David Gray's 'This year's love'

Today, by chance, I listened to this song which I used to listen some time ago... It made me reminiscent of some of my sweet old memories... An awesome song!

Happy Days!

What an amazing movie by Sekhar Kammula, a CBIT almunus! 'Happy Days' rocks!! It made me, infact many other engineering students, so nostalgic that people now want to go back to their engineering days to get the most of it. Being a CBITian, I enjoyed the movie to the max as it showed me many of the hang out places in our college... like parking lot, canteen, ground etc. My mind wholly taken up with reminiscences of engineering days, in just less than 3 hours and I badly want those days back. :-p Coming to the movie analysis, all the actors are so perfect that they seemed as if they are really doing their engineering studies. Each individual character in the movie, worth taking its name here, Chandu, Rajesh, Tyson, Shankar, Madhu, Appu, Sravz, Sangeetha and many others, has its own importance and displayed the values of fun, friendship and love. Music by Mickey Meyer is just awesome. I don't want to find a single negative point in the movie, firstly I don't know if I could, because of its great storyline and the way it reminded people of their happy days! Finally, I would just say one thing - CBIT ROCKSSSSSSSSS!!

Y do u disturb me??

I get disturbed when I hear from you. I feel confused and displaced - my world won't feel as stable or familiar to me once we talk. Whenever I see you.. hear your name... there is a major tingling feeling growing inside me... But why?? Y do u disturb me???

Most embarrassing moment!

It was on Sunday, 11th March 2007. I went casually to sit along with them and incidentally, it became the seat facing towards her. They all acted in such a way that I was embarrassed and felt like leaving the place immediately without any second thought and I did the same. However, I wonder if it was real 'I' who did all the bull crap that made her act so bad towards me!! I questioned myself why I suddenly got interested in her and let my self-esteem go down. But, I never had lust for her. I tried for her friendship/love because I felt she is sweet. Whatever! I was embarrassed so much that I couldnt enjoy the party from the very next minute.

I started saying to myself " C'mon Kiran! Kick it out! Take it easy!! Be a sport!!! "

POKIRI --- Puri Strikes Back!!

After a while, i take pleasure in writing a movie review, which is gonna rock this summer! POKIRI - A complete action flick with a pint of love story embedded in it to add a glamorous touch to the movie! Mahesh and Ileana, the protagonists of the film, seemed to vie each other for the most glamorous look. After flunking few films of the action genre, Puri Jagannadh, the director of the movie, strikes back with another HIT! Firstly, the music of the film laid a good foundation, and is composed by Manisharma. Audio was superhit and obviously, the expectations for this flick raised to the sky and the movie is upto those expectations! The strength of the film lies in the characterization of the hero and the direction. Mahesh has given his best performance ever. He did fit well in Puri's pokiri. Every artist is found upto the mark. The comedy track between Ali, Brahmanandam and Venu Madhav is hilarious.
The analysis of the film goes like this. The first half goes with the introduction of hero as a powerful man who will beat anybody to lashes for money. And he falls in love with Ileana at first sight and she too reciprocate it as the time moves on. The second half is all about how the hero gets into conflict with his boss, the land mafia don, Prakash Raj. The rivalry between them leads to an unexpected twist in the story and the climax is how the hero settles the score with the villain. The first half is very entertaining and powerful and the momentum doesnt continue in the second half, though it is good, till the twist comes into play and again the climax is satiating. On the whole, the movie has been excellently moulded to a big commercial hit. Finally, kudos to Mahesh, Puri and the entire cast and crew of Pokiri... Just say, Pokiri rocks!!
