POKIRI --- Puri Strikes Back!!

After a while, i take pleasure in writing a movie review, which is gonna rock this summer! POKIRI - A complete action flick with a pint of love story embedded in it to add a glamorous touch to the movie! Mahesh and Ileana, the protagonists of the film, seemed to vie each other for the most glamorous look. After flunking few films of the action genre, Puri Jagannadh, the director of the movie, strikes back with another HIT! Firstly, the music of the film laid a good foundation, and is composed by Manisharma. Audio was superhit and obviously, the expectations for this flick raised to the sky and the movie is upto those expectations! The strength of the film lies in the characterization of the hero and the direction. Mahesh has given his best performance ever. He did fit well in Puri's pokiri. Every artist is found upto the mark. The comedy track between Ali, Brahmanandam and Venu Madhav is hilarious.
The analysis of the film goes like this. The first half goes with the introduction of hero as a powerful man who will beat anybody to lashes for money. And he falls in love with Ileana at first sight and she too reciprocate it as the time moves on. The second half is all about how the hero gets into conflict with his boss, the land mafia don, Prakash Raj. The rivalry between them leads to an unexpected twist in the story and the climax is how the hero settles the score with the villain. The first half is very entertaining and powerful and the momentum doesnt continue in the second half, though it is good, till the twist comes into play and again the climax is satiating. On the whole, the movie has been excellently moulded to a big commercial hit. Finally, kudos to Mahesh, Puri and the entire cast and crew of Pokiri... Just say, Pokiri rocks!!

How to avoid drowsiness?

To avoid drowsiness during compelling times of work, just take a break! Do some other work than the current one! It would be much helpful to do a wierd thing like shouting aloud (exception for offices), raising a conversation with a friend or colleague, especially abt gossips going around, coz they intrude into human brains much faster... or any other interesting work which conquers ur sleep. No other medicine works better! Now u got to understand y i am posting this column in my blog? Hv fun!!! :-D

UGADI -- The Telugu New Year!

March 30th was very auspicious day for any telugu person as we consider it to be the new year day! The significance comes from the 'Ugadi Pachadi', the savoury taken specially on this day. This comprises of the different tastes, made from natural resources, like sweetness, bitterness etc. This is to signify that we should go ahead in life facing any kind of situations. Many people also consider this to be beginning of new financial year. They clear accounts of the previous year and start new accounts. The other thing important to mention is about horoscope called 'panchangam' in telugu. Many pandits give their predictions for the year based on the telugu signs and stars. Even the government of A.P officially hear the predictions like how the climate turns out to be this year and prospects for the state etc. People go to temples and worship god to bless them with a good year ahead. I had a great time on Ugadi with all these things! Anyway, I wish u a very happy 'telugu' new year! Go ahead!
